To repair tears or holes in traditional wallpaper, first, clean the damaged area with a damp sponge and let it dry. Cut a piece of wallpaper that is slightly larger than the damaged area, then apply wallpaper adhesive to the back of the patch and carefully position it over the tear or hole. Smooth out any bubbles or wrinkles with a wallpaper brush or roller, then use a clean, damp sponge to wipe away any excess adhesive. Allow the repair to dry completely before trimming any excess wallpaper around the patch with a sharp knife.
