To install traditional wallpaper, start by preparing the wall surface, ensuring it is clean, smooth, and free of any imperfections. Measure and cut the wallpaper to size, allowing for a few inches of extra wallpaper at the top and bottom. Apply wallpaper paste to the back of the wallpaper, then carefully hang it on the wall, smoothing out any air bubbles or wrinkles as you go. Finally, trim the excess wallpaper at the top and bottom and allow the wallpaper to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.
